War Graves

Poppy Rowden and Rowdon men are listed amongst the many millions of soldiers, sailors and airmen who gave their lives during WW1 and WW2. The two tables below, one for each war, show most of them ordered alphabetically by first name.

Tyne Cot Cemetery
Many of the soldier's first names contain links to the their family pedigrees. Simply hold the cursor over the name to first show the sept. Text in green indicates information not available in the source records.

Where ever possible I have found this additional information from other records. A poppy shown in the details column links to a image of a memorial inscription or a headstone at the grave. Most of the photos were taken during a personal visit to the sites in 1995. Click a green map pin to show a map of the cemetery location.
